Využití humátů v kombinaci s bórem ve výživě řepky ozimé
Rzymanek, Jakub
The aim of the thesis was to assess the effect of foliar application of boron (B) together with humate on yield and oil content of rapeseed (Brassica napus L.). For this purpose, a one-year field trial was evaluated. In this trial two different fertilizers containing boron were used. These fertilizers were applied both without and in combination with humate. In each treatment, a total of 300 g of B/ha (in the form of borethanolamine) and humate in a dose of 2 l/ha were applied. In one variant, humate without boron was used, in a total dose of 2 l/ha. The average of two unfertilized control treatments was used for comparison. A significant effect of boron used with humate on the yield of winter rape was reached (highest gain by 7.93%) in comparison to the control. A positive effect on seed yield was also reached by application of boron without humate in B2 treatment (+ 6.83%), which was significant compared to the control and compared to the B1 treatment too. Significant yield effect (+ 2.55%) in comparison to the control was reached also by application of humate without boron. A very small effect of boron fertilization on oil content was found. The highest oil content was reached by the separate use of humate (+ 1.19%). The treatments were also evaluated in terms of economic efficiency. Based on the results of yield obtained and economic efficiency of treatments, the B1 + NF treatment was chosen as the best one.

Objectives: The objective of the theoretical part of the thesis is to provide the reader with a depper understanding of the alternative nutritional direction of vegetarianism, specific distribution, history, benefits and also the risks associated with it. The final part of the theoretical work is devoted to the nutrition of a pregnant vegetarian woman. The main goal of the research investigation of the bachelor 's thesis was to find out whether a vegetarian diet is suitable during pregnancy, what are the eating habits of pregnant vegetarian women and how the pregnancy of the women I approached in my research progressed. Another goal was to find out whether the interviewed women continue to educate themselves during pregnancy and draw information from relevant sources, whether they consulted their lifestyle with their doctors, and finally to find out what type of diet they plan for their offspring in the future, whether they will eat a vegetarian diet, or they will have freedom of choice in choosing what they want to consume....

Importance of micronutrients in patients with celiac disease
Dolanská, Pavla ; Humlová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Meisnerová, Eva (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of celiac disease with a focus on the importance of micronutrients in treatment and clinical monitoring of patients with celiac disease. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter deals with celiac disease in general - history, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical classification, clinical manifestations, diagnostics and complications of celiac disease. Procedures for clinical monitoring of patients with celiac disease are also discussed. Last but not least, cereal proteins are analysed with a focus on gluten and its importance in the pathogenesis of celiac disease. The second chapter describes gluten-free diet as the only available possibility how to treat celiac disease. Furthermore, the pitfalls of the gluten-free diet and its possible nutritional imbalances associated with a gluten-free diet. The issue of gluten-free products is discussed, both in terms of legislation and in terms of selecting suitable foods. The possibilities of supplementation of micronutrients in celiac and other investigated possibilities of treatment of celiac disease outside the gluten-free diet are also mentioned. The practical part of this diploma thesis has two main goals. The first goal is...
Diet system from the perspective of macronutrients and micronutrients
Kočí, Kateřina ; Šišková, Ivana (advisor) ; Starnovská, Tamara (referee)
The aim of the thesis: The aim of this observational study of non-interventional nature, was to map the representation of macronutrients and selected micronutrients in the menus served to patients suffering of gastritis as well as other nutrition diets. Additionally, to research and review the dietary systems in healthcare facilities of the Czech Republic, in order to compare the obtained data with recommended nutritional intakes, as recommended/stated in the issue "Reference Values for Nutrition Intake". The purpose is to evaluate, whether both types of the diets follow the recommended values. Methodology: The source of the data for this thesis were the menus distributed to patients following the recommendations of norms related to gastritis and rational nutrition diets for the period of one week. By applying the "Nutriservis PROFESIONAL software" the content of studied macronutrients and selected micronutrients in the daily menus was determined in the collected data. Results: Ten selected healthcare facilities from six regions in the Czech Republic participated in the research. It was determined from the obtained data, that insufficient presence of fiber, wrong balance, as well as the amount of unsaturated and saturated fatty acids along with high amount of sodium were the key malpractices,...
Micronutrients in home parenteral nutrition
Petříčková, Dagmar ; Meisnerová, Eva (advisor) ; Čapková, Radka (referee)
The topic of the diploma thesis is micronutrients at home parenteral nutrition. In the theoretical part, parenteral nutrition is analyzed, including advantages and disadvantages, indications and contraindications. Intestinal failure is described as the most basic indication for the introduction of long-term / home parenteral nutrition. Following is the characterization and classification of micronutrients and a description of the consequences of their deficiency or surplus. Micronutrients are particularly important as cofactors and coenzymes in enzymatic reactions that would not be possible without them. The key question is whether the plasma levels show the actual state of the stock of the micronutrient in the organism, if the drop in most of the micronutrients that we find in patients reflects the actual deficiency to be substituted, or whether this decrease is an expression of their shift to other segments, the severity of the health condition. In the practical part of the diploma thesis are evaluated the levels of selected micronutrients (vitamin D, vitamin B12, folic acid, iron) in the group of patients with indication of home parenteral nutrition. The evaluation was based on laboratory analysis of patients' results. Key words: Parenteral nutrition, micronutrients, deficiency, surplus
